I have always been a firm believer that you have what you speak. I try my VERY best to make sure that I’m speaking positivity into my world. However, sometimes life can really throw some punches at you and you’re doing your best to pick yourself up. During those times, I know that your mindset is EVERYTHING.
Think of your brain as your stomach and the words you say the food. You have to be careful what you put inside of you because it affects you more than you think. So, if you’re in a bit of a storm and need some affirmations to pick yourself up, I shall deliver. Hopefully, this helps you out a bit!
#1: Everything will work itself out
I always tell myself this whenever I am in a situation and am thinking “How the heck am I going to get out of this situation.” And, every single time I tell myself that everything will work itself out, guess what? It DOES. There have been so many instances where I have been in situations where I just release what I cannot control or understand and continue doing my best.
Because, you cannot try to figure out everything and know whether the situation will fix itself. It’s better to relieve yourself of those variables and focus on the ones that you can control. The rest will work itself out. It seems a bit weird to some people, but I’m telling you, at least for me, it has always worked itself out.
#2: Everything I need will come to me
This one is similar to the first one. Sometimes you don’t have all the information that you need, and trying to find the rest of the information feels like a game of hide-and-seek. That’s why I just tell myself that this information that I need will come to me, and just do my best to let it go. I always noticed that whenever I was looking for the information, it seemed as if I was just drowning myself in words.
However, if I just told myself that all the information that I need will come to the surface, I always receive it. Sometimes, it would even be in the most unexpected ways. Now, the key to this, in my opinion, is to get whatever is worrying you out of your mind. Worrying about when it’s going to come is only going to rob you of your peace. It’s useless to stare at an abyss and wonder when something may appear.
#3: When it rains, a rainbow comes after
I don’t know who likes to have their down moments, but I’m telling you, they’re rough! This affirmation reminds me of the song Over the Rainbow. The song is such a peaceful song that I like to think of whenever I’ve had a down moment. Whether I’m stressed, had a breakdown, whatever, this alleviates my worries.
With this phrase, it lets me know that everything will be okay because something beautiful will come out of it. You can look at life through a pessimistic perspective, or you can do your best to look as if everything is working in your favor. I know, sometimes life gives you optics where you are unsure what’s there to be working in your favor. But, I like to think of this metaphor: a movie’s feel can all be changed by its lens and music.
Again, I try my very very best to have a positive outlook on life. Of course, there are moments where you question how. But, I just do my best and know that I can focus on what isn’t working. OR I can just do my best to look forward and know that doing my best is enough!
